friday fotos...is it monday already?

Where or where did the weekend go?!?! The weeks seem to be flying by so quickly that it's hard to catch my breath. Not sure if school getting out in a few weeks will help or hurt the insane speed with which life is passing. But, at least I'm keeping some kind of record of it!--

Here's what we've been up to this week:

The week started off with a BANG! (as in....shoot me already :)! )--this is what my house looked like at 10 pm last Monday:
and this is only a small section of it! I love blogging for the fact that instead of screaming at a mess like this....I just take a picture of it :) .

-----------------

One of my friends brought his Dauschunds over for the boys to play with. Zane was in dog heaven:

I haven't put many pictures of Ethan up lately--so here's one of he and Liam and me. It's all about what we do with our hands in pictures lately....I'm sure we look like some kind of weird gang:

I can never, ever go back to Cost Plus World Market! Oh. my. head. I grabbed some of this **bag of deliciousness** last time I was there and ate the whole thing in 3 days.....

My flowers are back!!! Hooray for a whole summers worth of homemade bouquets:

---------------------------------------
Now, I really hesitated putting these last ones up since I'm not generally a yank-your-shirt-up-and-take-a-photo-in-the-bathroom-mirror kinda gal, but when I caught a glimpse of my abs the other day, I was soooo happy.
Seriously--look! You can see some definition! That means the 2 months of inclined, weighted sit ups I've been doing are having some (slow) effect:
Bold It's nothing like the six-pack I use to sport in college, but I don't have 3 hours a day to work out anymore.....and I've had four kids.....and one of them was a 22 1/2 inch, nearly 10 pound giant....I'm surprised I even have any stomach muscles left and that's all I'm gonna say about that!
I think this should go on the Christmas card this year, what do you think :) ?

~ Happy Week-ing!~

I love the look on your face in that second AB picture. You didn't need to tell us you were proud. That look says it all.

As one who is pregnant with #4 right now and daily feels my stomach muscles turning to mush, I applaud you. I'd post a picture of myself naked if I get a figure back with any muscle definition at all after this baby is born!

Girl, you are too funny! I refuse to look at my stomach after 3 kids; it scares me. I try the whole sit up thing, but I think I would pull a muscle I didn't know I had!!

It's no fair! I've been working out forever, I can't find my abs! You look great, though, congratulations! And your kids are darling. Have a great week. :)

OK...
soon as I opened your site, Caroline runs to the laptop and says, "Hey--that's my song!"

We're not going to judge the fact that my 3 year old knows every word to "Low." Or the fact that she's now bankheading and bouncing along as Flo Rida serenades us.

I want your abs. That is all. The end.

Someday, when I have my dream house, my yard will be filled with different beautiful shades of pink and white peonies. I love them. I'm jealous you have some.

Oh and the abs... very nice. I wish had the motivation to get around to working on mine. They could be worse, but then they could also be better. Good job Jennifer!

I love your bouquet. I should cut some of the flowers from the yard...but I admire them from afar. Because. Really. My cats don't need anything else to get into.

And those abs? Wow. I am wondering where I might get the magic pixie dust to sprinkle on mine...

I love it when exercising finally pays off, and yours definitely is! Good job. I won't hate on you because as a woman of 5 children and 6 pregnancies, I know it takes some dang hard work to get your body back in shape and you are doing awesome! I love fresh flowers, too. Hydrandeas and peonies are my faves!

Look at you and your adorable little tummy! I can only wish...

Happy Birthday, by the way! I won't have internet to wish it to you on the REAL day, so here it is early! Enjoy every. single. minute. of it.

way to go work out mama! you'll have to show us a step by step photo shoot of how you got your abs looking so good!

Jenni said...

Yeah, I'm jealous of the abs too. And can I just say that white peony is lovely? I bought those very raspberry liquorice. . .they made me ill. But the mexican hot chocolate? YUM. That store has fun fun treats, no?

Oh, and don't let them talk you into BUYING the dogs. Just remember you have four kids, you don't need another one. . .that you won't love as much when have to clean up after them, and explain to your children why their barbies--er, (insert whatever boys love) have no legs. . .or whatever. Did you get that?

Good abs!! That licorice looks so yummy - I might need to go get some of that!

XOXO

Clean enough to live in and messy enough to look lived in. What do you expect with four boys?? and congrats for the abs. I'll say again....how did I miss the single portion of your bio?? Not to sound shallow, but WHOA!! Keep up the great work and still waiting for a sample of that poetry or were yu just teasing us??

Whoa. Seriously nice abs. So there's hope for me if I actually work out after this baby? I wish I could start now to avoid the near-obesity weight gain I tend to succumb to.

I'm so inspired! And yes, it is all about the comments.
