i'm no summer blockbuster

where is everyone?!?!

is it because school is out and summer is in? vacations? gardens? camping?

or is it me?

seriously--I feel like my life has been simultaneously crazy busy and crazy boring. Just not a lot to say right now, I guess. It's like a soap opera (which I haven't watched since I was 19, but I'm pretty sure not much has changed)---some seasons Mercedes finds out that her fourth husband is really her brother, and everyone catches a terminal disease, and a serial killer is loose in Green Valley, and you can't miss a day of watching because it's excitement, excitement, and excitement. And other seasons, well--it's just all kissing and heavy eye makeup. That's seems to be the season I'm having right now. Somehow I feel the need to apologize for it.

Though there is a certain kind of peace that comes with a life centered around smoked kohl eyeliner as compared to being chased by a crazy with a butcher knife while your fourth husband/brother is on his deathbed with cowpox. Even if people could care less.

Yup.

What two words describe your life right now?

Fingers crossed!
That describes my life

Jennifer-
You the best. I love your posts. I get crazy busy, and crazy boring at the same time. There are days when I get ready for bed and I am exhausted and feel like I didn't sit down once all day. At the same time though, I think about the day and feel like I accomplished nothing.

Crazy Beautiful!

It's been busy, but I'm loving every minute of it. We only live once so why not enjoy it! :) Got to love those soap operas though!

Exhausting. . . over-scheduled

What happened to summer freedom and lazy days playing in the sun and drinking lemonade? Oh, no--I have a half planked ceiling, a half painted living room, at least 6 plants I bought and still need to plant, VBS, soccer camp, a half planned 4th of July BBQ with out of town guests, a husband on his way out of town and a spontaneous mother in law on her way to my house for a VERY long weekend (6 days, so a week really)!

I think I will go to bed early. I SO get the really busy yet boring gig, I've got it going on right about now.

oh, and it's not always so much what you write about, but how well you do it that keeps us coming back.

Crunch Time

Why apologize when I STILL get a little giddy if your blog pops up with a new post while I'm scrolling through....??

Ooo oooo...I have a DJ question...who sings the song....
oh and I'm TOTALLY gonna scrap the lyrics...but it's a guy band singing something along the lines of 1,2 3, 4 I love you....

One thing to say, Two you....three words, Four you....
can you help a girl out?
My kids won't stop singing it...I gotta buy it asap ;)

LOL! "Cowpox", those sound serious. It's just been family reunion time around here. And tennis and t-ball. Oh...and a lot of chores. And yet, the house is still really filthy. What's up with that?

Oh, how I love Nadia's theme. I haven't seen Y&R in years. Are Victor and Nikki still hating and making up?

My life is crazy and busy.
It's that time of year.

p.s. Oh, but you need to read my latest blog post. You must. As I mention you. Yep.

Buzy, boredom.
I have loads to do and some new things to look forward to, but sometimes the everyday is pretty dull.

It is quieter in blogsville. I, too, have a hard time thinking up things to write, too. I think it's because we are "old hat" at it (i.e., our blogs are a couple of years old, at least I think yours is...). I have been meaning to ask, where did you get those gorgeous (blue?) chairs you used for your outdoor party? I LOVE them!!

Cheers,
Linda

Busy and hot.
That pretty much sums it up for me.

over scheduled.

The girls are on swim team. And tennis team. And there are still piano lessons. And it's freaky hot.

I have been horrid about posting. And about getting back into the groove of posting. And reading.

I've been wondering the same thing...where has everyone gone? I'm pulling out my best compilations in hopes to draw people back in, but have realized that perhaps The People are out in the sun....maybe we should start taking summers off like they do on tv. Maybe that's why they take summers off on tv.

It's summer...there's more important things to do than blogging! For me, that includes lots of movie marathons. Okay, so I have no excuse, but I am behind on the bloggy reading!

Just 2 words huh? Well, I suppose:

stressful

exhausting

those two come to mind at the moment. I always make time to read your blog, even if you think it's 'boring'. Although I HAVE been slacking on the comments. :o)

VERY cute red dress on Sunday... loved the color!

Thanks for your sweet comment today. I would love to have you and the boy squad as neighbors and would love to plan parties for you. If you ever want to head down south for a vacation, just let me know and I'll start crafting and baking in anticipation!
