and I know there are quite a few of you too! One of the reasons I started this blog was to post about my decorating projects (for any of you who may have forgotten or didn't know--I AM an interior designer....on a current writing sabbatical). Early on, I made bloggy friends with a lot of fabulous design bloggers (Nester, Melissa Lester, JenJen, Kim, Linda) .... and they have continued to have me linked even though my blog took **a bit of a twist. **I'm sure I get a lot of ladies coming over from those sites to see what project I have going on only to go "huh?".....
ANYWAY--
I am devoting all of next week to decorating and design posts. I'm going to use my scanner and show you the previous two houses I've lived in and what about them continues to be fresh and modern. I'm going to report about my favorite color schemes. And....I'm willing to take any questions that you might have and make possible posts out of them. So, if you're wondering about something---let me know in the comments here and I'll see what I can do about it! IT'S GOING TO BE FUUUUUUN!

I started out coming to your blog for the decorating but stuck around for the "blah-blah-blah" (as you so eloquently put it). :) I love your attitude and funky spirit.
Nothing much blah-blah about you!
Can't wait to see what's up your sleeve! Yes,it's been too long!
What do you do with a HUGE blank wall with tall ceilings?
what to put over my bed in our master. a large painting, original photography or canvas' with original art. it's been blank since november!
ooooh, i've got one! i've got one! what do i do with this ledge WAY UP HIGH in my living room? i want something fun and interesting, not what i usually see (plants, quilts, stupid knick-knacks). that's just not us. oh, and we live in a rental so we can't paint. argh. what DO I DO??? help!
I think at one point you posted about letters you painted/stuck on the wall? Can you revisit that or link it back up?
I like what you write about. Sometimes I like a blog with a purpose and sometimes I like ones that just pop around. I can't imagine how hard it is for the Nester to find something to write about everyday.
Okay, see what you can recommend for salmon colored vinyl tile (think high school cafeteria), gold chenille couch and lime green curtains. Welcome to our Brooklyn slum.
Thanks for the shout out! I love everything you post and always keep scrolling back if I've missed a few days to make sure I don't miss a post. There's nothing blah about your blog!
I'm loving the music on your blog right now - reliving my teen years! :)
We have a wonderful loft in our upstairs. I am thankful for the extra space but need it to serve many purposes, from toys to t.v. and computer. There is enough room up there that I would love to also have room to scrapbook but I want to build UP, not out. Do you know of any desks and wall organizers that you can take with you if you move?
OOOOh, I've got LOTS of questions! Ditto the "above the MB" one. Need serious mantel help, as well as just big blank walls. Something about this house is kicking our decorating butt!
I think that's great! Can't wait!
Yes, thanks for the shout-out, and I to love the blah, blah, as you put it. Your style is great and your words amazing.
You're the whole deal!!
Cheers,
Linda
