friday fotos--funny kids!

Thanks to dead batteries, I didn't have my camera out a lot this week. But what I did capture was pretty hil-a-ri-ous!

Here's what we've been up to this week.....

The kids had some friends over to play. It looks like they're all gathered around something terribly interesting on the kitchen counter.....

What could cause such excitement? A new xbox game? A portable DVD player? Nooooo.....they were fascinated by my *antique*......

POPCORN POPPER!

I got about 3 of these air poppers back in 1993 as going away to college gifts--I'm down to my last one. Hope it doesn't give out too soon as it never fails to ~amaze~ whenever I drag it out!

Zane and Ethan had their school Spring Fling dance and auction this week. The theme was "70's", and the kids were suppose to dress up. I didn't think my boys would really 'get' what the 70's was about, but how wrong I was....

I'd say they knew JUST what the 70's was suppose to look like!

Hide your daughters ladies, this man is too smooth.....

--------------HA!---------------

~Happy Weekending!~

Niiiice! I like the chest curls. Oh, and the medallion. Perfect.

I traded in my air popper for a Whirlypop. It's the best!

Happy weekending to you.

Your kids are too cool. You know I was actually thinking of getting a hot air popper recently? They have 'em at WS and at Target. I wasn't sure how much $ I'd save popping my own as opposed to the really healthy microwave kind. ;)

Funny costumes - they really got them right!

I have one of those popcorn makers somewhere... My mom just gave me one of the one's you use on the stove. It really makes great popcorn!

Have a great weekend!

My dorky childhusband just had to have one aobut 6 months ago and went out and bought one. I had no idea they still sold them. I remember they sucked back in the day, so I couldn't figure how why he was so exited about it.

I too had that piece of antiquated machinery! It had that little butter warmer on top that didn't really work that well. Oh good times.

Oh, my hot air popcorn popper died on me last summer, so I HAD to learn how to cook it in a pan over the stove. I actually like it just as much, if not more!

And it kinda makes me feel like Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Your '70s boys are so cute -- real dreamboats, as Marsha Brady used to say. The chest hair is cracking me up!

Oh dear! We still use our popper...does that make us ultra cool or just behind the times (start this rumor: polyester is back in). :-)
