an urgent matter

First of all, I wanted to thank all of you for the comments and stories you have shared with me over the last few days. I appreciate that you have trusted me with your wisdom and experience. Before I make a big decision of any kind I like to observe, gather information, study it out in my mind, and then pray. You have all helped immensely in that second step. There were so many more wonderful things I could have said about both these guys. They are both REAL people and both extremely important in my life. I do not want to pit them against each other, and no matter which one (if either) things work out with, the other will never be forgotten. As many of you caught on to--it will not be an easy decision for me to make nor to involve these special men in. It is difficult to write in a blog-length forum of the complexities of human emotions and relationships but I will continue to try and keep you updated on the situation between Green Eyes, Ninja, and myself. And again...thank you.

NOW.......

My dear long time reader Mrs. Morris has asked me if I might help her out with a cause near and dear to her heart by telling you all about a foundation desperately in need of your help. It is one that can make a difference in the lives of so many babies and families, and one that is very close to winning a LOT of money through the Chase Community Giving Program. Won't you please take a moment to read this.....and vote! It only takes a minute, it's free, and I promise you'll feel better after you do it. :

Please go to http://voteforsma.com/ to cast your vote to help SMA…there’s only 1 day left so they need all the support they can get.
It only takes a minute and it’s completely free.
Please consider helping out this foundation. Please help us try and save Nicholas and the other babies and children that have this disease.
Some facts about SMA:
SMA — Spinal Muscular Atrophy — KILLS more BABIES than any other inherited disease. Babies with SMA are born healthy and their minds are never impacted by the disease. But eventually their bodies FAIL them. Within months of an SMA diagnosis, these vibrant, intelligent children fall PARALYZED and need machines to help them EAT, COUGH, SWALLOW, and BREATHE.
50% DIE before their 1st birthday, 90% by their 2nd. 1 in 40 people UNKNOWINGLY carries the SMA gene. That could be YOU. That could be YOUR child. There is NO treatment and NO CURE.
But there is HOPE! The National Institutes of Health — the NIH — has coined SMA the disease “CLOSEST to TREATMENT”. Leading researchers have stressed that a CURE is POSSIBLE — IF provided adequate funding. And SMA research is already BENEFITING research into DOZENS of OTHER diseases. This $1 Million WILL have a MATERIAL IMPACT on CURING this CRUEL INFANT KILLER…FOREVER.
Be part of a MIRACLE.
VOTE: Gwendolyn Strong Foundation.

THANK YOU so much for posting this on your blog! Brienne is a close friend of mine and I found your blog through her and have been an avid reader of your for several months now. Nicholas is my son and this charity is so close to our hearts. A cure is on the brink and this money would help the medical reserachers get it to our babies even faster. God bless you and I'm praying for you in your decision bewteen Ninja and Green Eyes. God will guide your heart, I am sure of it.

Well, I come on over to check on you and see how you're doing and you're doing deliciously!!!!!

Well, I know you're in the throws of a very important decision and I have to go back and read the story to give you any advice but I'm LOVING that this amazing dilemma is happening to you. You deserve to be in crazy love, Jen.

I love that two fantastic guys have found you and I know you'll make the right decision.

And they're both suuuuuper cute, but I'm more of a team Ninja girl. Funny does good things for me and he looks funny.

I love this song.
