This little buried trampoline was here when we moved in, and the kids LOVE it. We have offered to replace it with a newer and/or larger one, but they want to keep this one. 20 years of being bounced on have left it VERY springy and the new ones just don't have much give to them. So here are my two big guys having a great time while I worry one of them will fall through one of the gaps caused by missing springs!
For science last week, we made rock candy (that's what Zane is holding up). It was really fun to watch the crystals grow. Everybody was excited to eat it until they actually tasted it. Zane: "Hey it tastes just like sugar." Me: "Yes, remember it's made from sugar crystals". Zane: "I thought it would taste like a baby bottle pop". I guess next time I'll have to add blue raspberry flavoring or something!
