Our days are still warm, but the evenings and mornings have cooled off enough that I think we've picked the last of the vegetables from the garden. We have eaten so many cucumbers, and grated and frozen enough zuchinni to last a year. Our watermelons never got big, but they were still tasty. We picked one ripe pumpkin, and have four more turning orange now. In the picture Ethan is holding the biggest zuchinni that we grew and James has the biggest cucumber. (He LOVED that giant cucumber and tried many times to eat it--as you can see!) It will be nice to take a break from all the weeding, but we can't wait till next spring to start all over again. I'm already planning an herb garden where the strawberries (that didn't produce anything!) are. And yes--my little ones routinely walk around the back yard without pants on :)!
