Sound like a deal? (like you have a choice oh captive audience! mwahahahaha!)
Lots of snow this year! Second snowiest December on record in fact. One day I looked out the window and saw Zane shoveling the neighbor's driveway and sidewalk. He was out there for over an hour, and when he came back in said: "Whew! That felt good! I just felt like doing a little service!" LOVE this kid!!!

So these next pictures got a little out of order and I don't feel like fooling with the HTML right now, so we'll just work in reverse order:
Christmas morning found us Rockbanding....a LOT! I now hear "Dead or Alive" even in my deepest sleep---a 9 year old voice version of Dead or Alive even!

I think Zane's face says it all! We have wanted this game for a while now. I would have been practicing by myself on the nights leading up to Christmas so I could keep up with the kids, but...yeah....I needed them to set it all up for me :)

Love the Christmas chaos! Love my kids! Love that my kids think new toothbrushes are just as cool as toys.

Stockings first:

New Years Day we went out to Mom and Dad Peterson's place to party with the extended fam.. Farmers really know how to live it up in the winter time!:

Liam lost in the sea of grandchild presents. Snowglobes for everyone!
I don't know if you ever read the blog Mikell, but I think your hubby looks like he belongs in Twilight in this picture. Is he sparkling, hmmmmm.....Very Cullen-esque! :) (also had to stick it up because I love how it looks like Mom P. is not going to give that stuffed Scooby Doo up for anything!).

Great pictures! Looks like so much fun. Your son's face is the best.
I am anxiously awaiting tomorrow's installment.......
I love Friday Fotos, especially the Monday edition! Looks like Christmas was good to you all and isn't Zaney the nicest neighbor ever?!
Looks like ya'll had a wonderful holiday! And Zane is a great boy!!

I am so glad to see you back.
And I love that last picture of everyone gathered around the food. I need to do that. I think I hear lunch calling my name...
Cute pictures! I love that Zane did that without being asked!
Wow! What a great boy Zane is out there scattering sunshine! And James is cuter than cupid!
You know, just when winter was seeming a little bleak, you and Emily are both back in the blogging saddle and the world seems brighter somehow. It's like life has been set back into position and everything is right again! LOL!
Happy New Year!
Glad you are back! Looks like you a great Christmas, I love all the family together. Can't wait to hear about the Idaho visit, you are so suspenseful.
I got a kick out of the Cullen picture and Scooby Doo. Too funny. Looks like it was a good Christmas!
Looks like you guys had a great Christmas... what did we ever do without Rockband and Wii? Bet the pioneers would think we were nuts. :)
Happy Monday to you too!!
I love that your boys had to set up Rock Band for you. We are huge Rock Banders around here...go download good stuff...it costs, but oh, it's worth it. We jam out to the B-52's "Roam." Muse's "Hysteria." Anything by the Cars. 30 Seconds To Mars' "The Kill." And more. Good times.
Speaking of good times...I would love to play Rock Band in Idaho. One day.
p.s. Yes, Mikell looks soooooooooooo like a Cullen. Wow.
p.p.s. Oh my precious head...GIRL...you have Jesus Jones on your playlist. I. Love. This. Song. Longtime.
Yeah! Youre back!
It is a bit mean to make us wait for the Dimples update, but that is the power of your own blog.
Can't wait to hear more!
Btw...as for the shoveling, what a gentleman your boy is already. You should be quite proud.
We play Rob Your Neighbor, too. It's so much fun!
I am so impressed your son shoveled the neighbor's driveway! What an awesome kid :) Looks like you and your kids had a GREAT time over the holidays!! Happy New Year!
Love the Christmas morning pictures with all of the toys and stockings. Rock band is the best!! Everyone loves that!
You have a fun blog! Glad to have found you
Ooh, can't wait to see pics of Haute Mystery Man!
Is your green armoire a thrift store find you painted? I love it. I've got to find something for our computer crap that's taking up a lot of presence in our living room. I have a feeling it's turned into the involuntary focus. The piles really are a site to behold. We're going for a Guinness record.

I'm so glad you're back. I missed your posts! It looks like you had a great Christmas. We are also obsessed with RockBand around here...
Great fotos!
Jen
What a fun Christmas! We love Rock Band too. I'm always stuck being the singer because I can't play any of the instruments. My fingers get all confused and tangled up.
Uhm...that snow better start melting...
That man does look like he should be in Twilight!
Great holiday photos!!
Those are just great great photos! I want to be in your family! I think the Rock Band one is my favorite ... he is so serious! Looks like a ton of fun!
Oh, Jennifer P., now my year is off to a good start after stopping in here! I'm glad you're back.
That Zane -- what a sweetheart! I'm glad to see your rocker's softer side.
We got Guitar Hero for Christmas, and I feel like I must be the only person in the world who is totally stressed out trying to play it! Carson stands beside me playing the electric guitar, relaxed as can be singing along with the lyrics, never missing a note. And I have worked up to playing three of the drums, but two I just have to let go. And I'm stressed out! I guess I just don't want to let my band down. Maybe if I stuck to ballads ... .
Anyway, can't wait to hear about Mystery Man's visit!
Oh, why do I feel that I've been naughty...peering through a peep hole into someone's private family life. It's almost too much for me! Elena always laughs when I tell her of my personality this way, but I always feel so uncomfortable in big groupings. This big grouping(s) just looked like such family. It was so personal.
I think I'll walk away slowly now, feeling as though I got to see something not really allowable.
Am I weird?
