friday fotos: i will never be bored again

Just so I will remember on those days some time in the future when I think to myself "I'm bored", that RIGHT NOW *I am reading approximately 500 pages a week of difficult reading material (Joseph Conrad, Voltaire, Jonathan Swift). *I am writing no less than 2 papers a week and 1 poem. *I am homeschooling Liam and doing a co-op school every Friday where I teach teenagers about "Famous People". *My laundry manages to stay done, the carpets vacuumed, and the dishes done, though we have grown very good at ignoring the state of the closets.* I still run kids to scouts and activities with friends, and fit in a work out 3 times a week. SO, if I start thinking I'm "bored", I hope I can at least say...."no, you're just not in a state of hyperdrive right now. Enjoy it Self!!!"

Here's what we've been up to this week:

The Person of Interest movie screening went FABULOUS! The acting and cinematography were absolutely captivating. I don't know yet how much money was raised, but the line to get in went around the corner--so I hope that means "sufficient". I was lucky enough to go with the filmmaker's cute younger brother as my date, so we didn't have to wait in the killer line and actually got to sit in the reserved seats. There was "reserved" tape involved. That was cool :)

(I didn't cut my hair off---it's just pulled up.)

As for the boys and I .... we've been practically living at the skate park lately. I try and ride my board, but usually end up like this since James wants to ride with me:

Look! All four of the boys in one picture! THAT is not easy to do!....

Zane's learning to master the half pipe. The helmet is a *must*
Finally, luchadoring is catching on in our family. Here's James to prove it....

I'm so proud of him :)
That's all I've got, so put that in your pipe and smoke it! (well, don't really--I don't advocate smoking at all, but that sounded like a half-funny thing to say:] ).
~Happy Weekending!~

My grandfather used to say, "Put that in your pipe and smoke it." all the time. A great saying!!

So cute! Love all the skateboarding pics!

FYI - I read all my blogs in a reader and click over and comment on them all after I'm through reading. I definitely know your blog by the music that cranks up as I'm still reading in my reader. Haha! And now I have to keep typing until this Spice Girls song ends because I'm really digging it.

I like busy days... especially when you have to 'go to work' because it makes the time go so much faster! I tend to like my mom days like that too. I like your hair pulled up, looks super cute. You have a beautiful face shape!

I just love skate parks. They remind me of my own skater days, before skate parks existed! Back then we had a bar of soap and a curb.
