friday fotos: has it been a week already?!

My one week of 'honeymoon' time at school came to an end. This week I have been made to read all of Moliere's Tartuffe, and *short* ( I don't think this term should be used unless the story is under three pages, which these were NOT, thank you very much) stories by William Faulkner, Kate Chopin, Katherine Mansfield, Ha Jin, Chinua Achebe, John Steinbeck, T. Coraghessan Boyle, Raymond Carver, and Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.. I feel like someone opened my head and poured in some crazy mixture of genius. It feels good....but also a little nauseating. In addition to all that reading, I've written my first fictionalized character piece and turned out 2 more poems to add to my manuscript.

---------------

What HAVEN'T I done?....

Taken any pictures.

---------------

Except this one:

This is the frisbee Liam and James got to paint in the splatter barrels at the fair.

So, yeah. There you go. A picture of a frisbee.

Also, I wanted to share something with you. A month ago, a family friend was killed in an auto accident and her husband and 2 sons badly injured.Another son of hers, whom I grew up with, has a fabulous local band. They've played several benefit concerts for his family. Music, I can tell, has been great therapy for him. I'm not asking anyone to give anything---just to listen to their band. It's happy, upbeat music and will start your Friday off right, I promise. (and if you choose not to watch...you've still been listening to them on my playlist :] ). Enjoy!

~Happy Weekending!~

I've had weeks that end with no substantial photos, too. That's a pretty cool-looking frisbee, though! Have a great weekend!

Hey, it might only be a frisbee, but it's an awesome picture of a cool frisbee. :)

Sorry to hear about your friends. That is terribly sad.
