I am a very creative person, but unfortunatley don't have a lot of the skills I need to carry out my ideas. Halloween costumes for example: I don't like to just go to the store and buy one off the shelf, but neither can I make one of my own entirely from scratch (I tried making Zane a robot costume one year out of boxes, assorted kitchen gadgets, and a lot of tin foil, and the sorry thing started falling apart a half hour into trick-or-treating!). So what I've done in years passed is kind of doctor up a store bought costume. Hope my children remember my good intentions!
The picture below is my favorite Halloween costume "duo"--Zane and Ethan as Calvin and Hobbes three years ago. I used a ton of sculpting putty on Ethan's hair, but he has always had such crazy hair as it was, that I gave him a "GROSS Club" name tag so people would know who he was even if he was seperated from Hobbes. How fast they grow up! HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Can't wait to see everybody in their costumes!

so cute! can't wait to have kids to dress up for the holiday. I don't dress up anymore, but maybe someday. your window decor is darling! Good job on your creativity. And, I actually saw that idea for a pumpkin with the circles cut out somewhere and thought it was so cute, so good job!
I love Ethan's hair! So cool. Can't wait to see everyone's outfits for tonight. Hope you all get lots of good candy!
