1. If you give a child a bowl of popcorn for a snack, he will suddenly feel the need to carry it to as many rooms as possible to eat it. Just follow the trail.
2. If you live in a home with a toddler, chances are you will have at least one remote control with the battery cover missing, which you have to run by holding the batteries in with part of your hand while the other part pushes the buttons.
3. Let other people say what they will about vacuuming--I love it! I bought the biggest, loudest vacuum I could find and I use it often, because for a few precious minutes all I hear is RRRRRRRRRRRR. I'm sure someone is asking me for something by shouting across the house, I'm sure some combination of children are fighting, I'm sure something is being broke, but all I hear is the serene sound of RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
4. I know my husband coming home at the end of the day makes it all better.

Vacuumming is the ONLY part of cleaning I enjoy. There's just something soothing about it. (I kind of like dusting too.) And the popcorn in our house ends up smashed to tiny bits all over the floor and inside the couch cushions. AND, a big wad of t.p. and tape work great for a makeshift remote cover. Cute post!
Ahhhh....tape and t.p.--good idea. Somehow I never give up hope that I may find the back somewhere, someway.....
I know for sure that I would give anything to go back in time and spend a day with my young boys. They grow up so fast so enjoy the messes!!
