Vegas baby!

Considering the last vacation Brad and I took alone was 12 years ago to Venezuela, I'm very excited we will be off tomorrow for 2 1/2 days of r&r. Unfortunately, the vacation spot has to be Las Vegas where the Optical Convention Northwest is being held. I thought it might be really neat to take in a show like the Blue Man Group, but I don't have $250 to spare--so we'll have to settle for wandering around some of the neat casinos and trying to avert (overt?) our eyes from the stream of filth that is Las Vegas. Mostly I'm just looking forward to spending a little time with my sweetie--time I will attempt to NOT fill with constant worry over my children's well being, possible terrorism, and other lovely things of that sort! We'll take some pictures and get them up around Friday. Till then....ta ta!
