friday fotos--what makes me smile

Days seem to be blurring into one another--all anxiously anticipating Spring. Despite having those things I needed to write through this week, daily life has been happily uneventful. Here's what we've been up to.....

Loved this picture of Zane and James. They look so much alike to me!....

While in California, Haute Cakes and I visited a farmer's market. We looked at the flowers and I pointed out that lilies were my favorite. A couple days after my return home, he sent me these. Am I lucky or what? :)

Funny random picture of James playing the piano in gag glasses:

I've graduated from making leek papyrus in class to making actual paper! From left to right are my handmade hemp paper, 100% cotton paper, and paper made from pulverized denim. Pretty, no?

Hopefully our last snow of the year.....

Seeing as how it's 2:19 am, that's about the extent of *interesting dialogue* I can churn out for tonight....
Let's just end on
~Happy Weekending!~

Love the paper. The people in our local homeless shelter used to make paper and then they had this cool little store where you could buy handmade paper/envelopes etc. What a process.

And the lillies. Oh they make me tear up.....just remembering your last post about the them.

Glad your days are happily uneventful.

Your paper looks so cool--of course. EVERYTHING you do looks cool. At least as far as I can see. Your boys are so very cute.

And nice flowers--lucky. My husband doesn't even bother anymore.

Hi, Jen, I've been out of commission all week fighting a nasty stomach virus that got the whole family. I missed checking in with you and enjoyed reading back through all the posts I missed this week. I know this week has taken an emotional toll on you; I'm glad it included some flowers.

Jennifer, I just caught up on a weeks worth of posts and I'm So. Glad. I. Did. Every word captivated me, and I felt your emotions in every post, even if only in shades and shadows. I have never lived through a divorce, the death of a parent, a life threatening illness, or even loss of insurance. But you have communicated these losses with elegance and grace in ways only you can. Thank you for sharing your processing with us.

And I can't believe you make paper. awesome.

Hello there! I am visiting via your comment on Scargosun's Blog, which I read a lot. What a happy, busy, active and colourful Blog you have. I enjoyed your positivity.

I am writing to you from Bristol in the UK where I live and enjoy blogging, my friends, my church and my pub! I really like lilies too but don't generally shout out about that!

Seeya!
