while tiffany is out hob-nobbing with celebrities...

I am guest blogging for her! Tiffany (a long time bloggy friend, and co-founder of SITS), runs a camp for celebrities kids. Terrible work, no :)?! Anyhow--she's getting through registration this week (which I hear often entails dealing with snippy assistants) so she trusted me enough to write a little sumpin' sumpin' for her. Go take a look... and PLEASE let me know what you think! I've been dying to address the subject I'm talking about over there for a month now! THANKS!

In high hopes that you will 'make the shelf' someday soon. YOU WILL, no doubt.

I'm in the middle of writing a musical for my kids choir called "Famous Kids". I thought that amusing since your friend is hangin' with real celebs!

Best Wishes, Tiniel~

p.s. Do you have an e-mail link or button if us 'private' bloggers want to invite you to ours?

Went and read your guest post! I need a little more confindence before I call myself a writer but I am working on it.

OOooooh, this was a great question. I loved answering it. I'm curious too as to how people view themselves in the "writing" world.

I liked it Jennifer...fun!

Here's what I have to say....Your writing is sooo real to me. Makes me really thing about things. But most importantly...how can blog writing NOT be real if one can make herself so real and make me feel like I've known her for a very long time???? And I've never even met her?? And I feel like I know her!!! (Does this make any sense...because I -and if I knew how to italicize I would be italicized!- do not write well...so I don't know if I'm getting my point across?) Anyway, I hope you know how real YOU and YOUR writing are to me :)

J,

A Book of Music
by Jack Spicer

Coming at an end, the lovers
Are exhausted like two swimmers. Where
Did it end? There is no telling. No love is
Like an ocean with the dizzy procession of the waves' boundaries
From which two can emerge exhausted, nor long goodbye
Like death.
Coming at an end. Rather, I would say, like a length
Of coiled rope
Which does not disguise in the final twists of its lengths
Its endings.
But, you will say, we loved
And some parts of us loved
And the rest of us will remain
Two persons. Yes,
Poetry ends like a rope.

YOU are a writer. I love to write. . .Is that the same thing? I love writing on my blog and miss it since I am very irregular these days. I feel like I don't write as well on there as I used to. My mom is always telling me how great a writer I am--but who can believe their mom?!

She actually got into a conversation with a writer doing a book signing at Costo (In Boise) last week and told him all about me! He told her to have me email him for some advice. And the funny thing is the guy was from Utah and I met him last year at Mcdonalds! My mom thinks it's a sign. Ah well, validation by publication would be nice, but I just wish I had time to blog regularly these days. So I guess I count that as real writing!
