The long awaited day has finally arrived--my new blog design is here! It was a rather bumpy journey--let's just say my first arrangement didn't work out as planned--but Shannon at Eight Crazy stepped in and saved the day (and my husband's perfect Christmas gift!). THANK YOU SHANNON!!!! She totally put up here just what I saw in my head--and that's no easy task. If any of you want an amazing transformation like this one, she'd be the one to contact.
I think this is all I'll do for today. I'm too busy smiling my Dick and Jane smile to type much else!
*can you guys let me know if this lined paper is too hard to read the words on? I like it, but I was worried someone might end up with eye strain!

Sooo cute!! Isn't she amazing? I would say that the lined paper is a little distracting, but not terrible. I'd try the faded version.

That is the COOLEST blog design! Really unique and I love the custom header. I think the lined paper is cute and not too distracting but it might show up differently on different browsers (we use Firefox). Faded might be the way to go.
Love it!! It is a little hard to read "between the lines." Maybe faded would improve that.

I love it. You will never guess what... the 40th invitations I am making for my birthday this year are Dick & Jane ones!! I can't show you those yet as it is still awhile off. And I made a skirt from Dick & Jane fabric last week. I'll take a photo tonight!!

I went back in and faded the blue lines. What do you think? Is it good or should I fade it more?
♥ LOVE it! So cute. I dont' think the lined paper is distracing at ALL! Very cute. My friend found some dick & jane fabric and is making a quilt out of it! SO dang cute!
Thanks everyone! I'm glad Dick and Jane is universally loved. Something about kids floating boats, and making newspaper hats,and driving soapbox racers instead of playing video games.....sigh :).

Looks great. Shan is the bomb. She is so good at design. Someday maybe I will have her eye for things. She really does have a talent. I am anxious to see her new house when it is all decked out. You people with a eye for design make me sick ;-)

Hi Jennifer...I like your new look. It is so much fun! I just got a new look, too...I had Darcy and Graphically Designing/Life with my 3 Boybarians do it. It is so much better than those ugly old blogger templates! FYI, I may attempt to do a "five beautiful useful things in your house" post too...it may take me a month to get it together, but I loved your post on that...great idea!
