Typical of an Idaho Spring, we went from low 50's with a cold breeze, to high 70's and blue skies everywhere---in one day. Never seems to be much middle ground around here!
But unpredictable or not--a warm day should be enjoyed to the fullest! I see water. I see rocks. Hmmmm.....wonder what's going to happen?

My boys sure do love throwing rocks in the river
(or the canal, or a puddle, or in James's case--the hot tub!)

Looks like I forgot to rotate this picture, and I'm too lazy to go back and do it now--but I think it's so cute the way James follows Zane around.
He has no clue that he's not every bit as big and capable!

This doesn't look dangerous at all, does it?!
I sure do love these guys!
*And in other news--your friendly movie critic (me!) says I was actually entertained by Alvin and the Chipmunks, but I turned off both "No Reservations" and "Nancy Drew" before the ending and don't even care!
Have a great week~!

I love spring too! I loved the picture of the little brother following big brother. So sweet! Thanks for the movie recommendations. I have one for you that I have been meaning to blog about but just haven't had time, Atonement. It left me thinking for days...The novel was stunning and the movie an outstanding representation of a tragic story. Did you see it? Thoughts? It is pretty raw in some spots and way in your face uncomfortable, but it is supposed to make you feel that way. Anyway, would love to know what you thought- Kamee
Sorry that last comment was from me. I am making a blog for my sister to have at school for her students and I am still signed in as her. So sorry. This one will come up as Mrs. Crampton too, but it is Kam! ;)
♥ We had the same weather! Looks like a great weekend! I love that picture of James following Zane! So cute! My kids are dying to see Alvin & the Chipmunks!
What fun! Amazing what rocks will do for a group of boys! They look soooooo cute all sitting there together.
ahhhh...I love this song :) I also love that you left that photo sideways. It makes me happy. Way to let the present be imperfect!
And thanks for your comment on my blog as well. Your words are ones to live by and advice warmly received.
Yay for warm weather! It's windy here today, but it's still warm. I love it. Your boys look like they all got haircuts. They look so handsome.
Oh how I know about temp swings. It was 82 degrees here on Friday and Saturday and this morning it was 39 with a high of 52. Suppose to warm up this week. I love the pics of your boys especially the group one. I haven't seen "Alvin" but my daughter and I have seen Nancy Drew three times. We loved it...I'm sorry you didn't :( Have you seen The Bee Movie...because that is really funny. TTFN!
Ahhh a sunny day and 4 handsome boys! What a good time. We had an awesome weekend as well....today, rain and COLD to my bones. The sun will return though - someday. Glad you had a fun time.
Your boys look so happy! They are very handsome and looked like they had fun throwin' rocks. I think that's so funny because it wouldn't occur to my girls to throw the rocks. They would stir the water with sticks or float leaves. They would collect the sparkly rocks and bring them all home. Boys and girls can be so different.
What is with this crazy weather we are having????
great pics...(even the one with the sideways slant lol)
~simply~
Looks lovely! I love a good run with nature. Throwing rocks is a favorite family pastime of ours too. Jeff can skip them up to 9 times in a row so we always have contests!
boys + rocks + water = fun, fun fun!!!
that is all my boys want to do around large bodies of water: throw any and every rock they can find inside of the water...glad you got out and enjoyed it the nice weather!
That's a typical Virginia spring too! We go from 80 to 40 over night sometimes! :) Looks like you enjoyed one of the good days!
