It looks like a caveman with a piece of chalk visited our back porch!
That would be the work of Liam.....

He sure does love to draw in an
absTracT manner
!
What a creative little soul ;)!

And
James has drug out every ball.
Ethan is sporting a pair of my old sunglasses
and feeling pretty cool (never mind that they have my prescription in them and will probably ruin his eyes.....)

the sandbox is
OPEN FOR BUSINESS!
Liam peeking in on his friend Emma.
Thank goodness for knotholes at eye level!
Pretty yellow flowers.......
Not so pretty yellow flowers.....
(this is the neighbors yard, by the way!)

And red shoes. How can you not be happy when you're wearing red shoes?!

I love Spring, the hope of things new. There is so much to make you happy and YES how can you not be happy in RED shoes!!! Sassy!!!!!
♡ Yesterday was beautiful and hot here... And today gray and raining! It looks so beautiful there!
Warm days around here bring the kids out asking when are we going to open the pool. It is like 40 here today. Brrrr. We have had 70's a couple of weeks ago. I am ready for that to come back.
No pool yet.
Smiles!
I recognize those shoes...they make me so happy too! Today we experienced a cold snap in NC, and I made the mistake of wearing a skirt! I had the wind whipping it up all afternoon as I stood outside for car duty.
Glad you enjoyed all my silly posts. The quesadillas really are yummy!
Yes, I name the appliances. But Miley is so pretty. I think she would want to have a name!
So beautiful there. We've had two beautiful days here too. Yesterday we went for our first bike ride of the year. It felt great. Tomorrow the high will be 40. Crazy how you can lose 30 degrees in 24 hours. Cute shoes! By the way, Jarom is there thru Fri., if you need anything please let us know.
To us, spring brings, chalk and bubbles, bubbles and chalk, scooters, bikes, skateboards, running away from bees, swings and slides, gardening, fresh cut grass, and feet in the thick lush lawn because of all the rain we've had. It brings about rebirth and renewal, and reminders that God. created. all. of. it. Keep cherishing these sweet moments with your boys.
You are truly a great mother! A SANDBOX! We had one last year until I just couldn't stand it anymore! Sand in ears, eyes, under pits...and other places I'm too embarrassed to type :) Just Sunday we were in fleece I tell ya! Yesterday and today, I'm letting my boys play in the sprinklers!!! Crazy! Doesn't the warm weather make the day go by sooo much faster??!!! About the book excerpt...you blog on in all you want, no credit needed! If it inspires one person, I'm glad! (Sweet shoes too, by the way!)
Meant to say, "you blog on IT...not in...oops :0
fun shoes - i am wearing my favorite red shoes today! your boys are so cute!
After fifteen minutes of trying to get into your blog, I actually made it! Wow, now THAT took intelligence! Were I so lucky as to actually have my comments sent to you, I would say . . . I love the red shoes, but I love you more. Now we'll see it this gets through to you. Mom
I agree, happiness can be found in red shoes.. well, actually, all kinds of shoes. Enjoy you wonderful weather and the lovely sound of boys being boys.
A warm day is reading your blog! Even if it is at 1:00am. ;) Loved the post. It was really warm in CA today, 92 degrees. That warm day kept us inside with the AC on. ;)
I'm skipping to the shoes first. Sissy blogged about a very similar pair a few weeks ago and I LOVE THEM. So stinkin' cute.
I love the chalky caveman drawings. The bricks on our house often sport some hieroglyphics. It's a sure sign of spring. I also love your sandbox under the tree, and what a pretty tree!!
It looks like everyone got some good sunshine. I wish we lived closer. Our kids are so close in age, it would be fun to watch the boys and girls together.
Glad everyone else enjoys their warm days as much as we do--and that chalk is a staple around your houses too ;)! Also glad my red shoes are a hit!
Heather,
I love our tree too. In about a month it is going to be covered in cherries--yum! My big boys climb it every day to get to the cherries before the birds do!
Staci,
I hate the sand mess too. Moving it to the far corner of the yard has helped somewhat--a lot of space between there and the house to shake the sand off ;)! Still have problems with the occasional bucket or shovelful of sand being dumped on a brother's head, but....
Love all your posts. This is another great one. Your red shoes are perfection.
ooohh! i LOVE your red shoes...they are so pretty....where'd you get them?
