What good is it having the best group of blog readers in the world if I can't do some shameless advertising to them from time to time :)?!
A fellow fearless homeschooling mom and friend of mine, Corrie (who sold me my Dick and Jane bag that I have blogged about before) and her sister own a little shop called Quilt Taffy with a ton of the cutest fabric, quilting and crafting supplies, and other little vintage-looking goodies. Now they've got their blog up and going with lots of ideas for those blessed to be ever-so-wonderful with their hands. And judging by what I've seen a lot of you make and blog about--that applies to YOU! So, go do me a nice blogging favor and check this out!
THANK YOU!.....and happy Saturday!

Okay, do they have a real storefront?? I want to go! About your chair from below...you could totally make a slip cover all by yourself!!
Kristan,
They set up at different events, but nope--no store front. Just an ebay and etsy shop. And I'm trying not to laugh at the thought of ME making a slipcover! I'm the girl that two women have thrown up their hands in frustration trying to teach me to sew. I couldn't even get past threading the bobbin! I really do want to learn one day, and I'm pretty good with my hot glue gun--but I think slipcover may be a bit out of my league right now :)!
What a cute site! Thanks for posting the link!
Way to be a good friend. Their stuff is really cute. And for the record, I couldn't do a slip cover either. :)
Just wanted to say LOVE you blog theme!! I recently found fabric like it and I love it! Very fun blog!
Hello. Just catching up on a week of posts. (I have been busy - very busy!)
Your hair is curly in your last post. Is this normal? Do you usually straighten it?
I really don't like doing the whole birthday party thing. I am usually pleased when my kids want to go somewhere else to celebrate.
Happy birthday to Liam.
Jenny,
No--my hair is as straight as straight can be. But on occasion I'll wash my hair at night and then put it into twists that I bobby pin--and voila! curls :)! Kind of fun for a day or two!--Thanks for noticing!
