the boy squad
welcome to our blog!
A life in transition, happy to be lived in a transparent way because it's too beautiful and funny and tragic and filled with little miracles to be kept to myself. I love the comments. I love the sincere, kind followers. But if it was just me and the chirping crickets of cyberspace, I'd be here, doing this, regardless.
I am happiest when I can make someone laugh or cry...or laugh till they cry.
I am mother to my amazing blended family of six, recently transplanted to a California surfer city.
I am a fashionista.
I am an interior designer.
A poet. A pirate. A homeschooler. A writer.
I'm a lover, not a fighter (though don't pick a fight with me because I'll kick your trash.)
I live in a crazy house with my Emmy-nominated husband, a ukulele, and a seven foot tall bigfoot.
I never go a day without acknowledging God.
And I make the best chocolate frosting in the world.
Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day.
"If you would not be forgotten as you are dead and rotten, Either write things worth reading, or do things worth the writing" -Benjamin Franklin
"That which we persist in doing becomes easier for us to do; not that the nature of the thing itself is changed, but that our ability to do it has increased" -Heber J. Grant
I would rather attempt something great and fail, than to do nothing and succeed.
these are the people i'll remember when i'm famous:
I'm always so shocked when I mention blogging in natural conversation, and people give me "that look". I don't quite know what "the look" means, but I insist in my mind that they still don't know what blogging is....at least we can hope.
In that case, I'm so "into blogging" that it just shocks the heck out of me when people don't know what it is...
We blogger addicts get it...the commercial was for us.
OH---for blogging...well, now THAT changes everything! (Blogging REALLY does change everything! He's a cutie too and I can't say no to a Twix! ) I would be such a cheap date if I were single :)
Hey...I left a comment here this morning, but it is gone! Anyway, I was wondering where in the world you had seen that, but you did answer that above...and I also commented that I thought it was HUHLarious...because it is...blogging as a pick up line...that is great!

Funny. Good ol' blogging. :)
Oh! Blogging! I love blogging!
ha! ha! ha! It just never gets old!!! :)
While the blogging part is tempting, I'd only want him for his Twix. He's lucky he didn't eat all of it. That would've been a big mistake.
What really made the impression with her was wiping melted chocolate on the front of his sweater since the Twix had been in his pocket all evening.
Now she can focus on trying to help him grow up, since no adult man brings candy to a party.
Score!
Funny. The advertising world is catching on to blogging...finally. Hilarious!
that is funny! thanks for sharing.. (:
Oh, too funny. Yep, go to his apartment for "blogging." Does that have anything to do with "shagging?" Just wonderin' :-)
LOL! "Whaaaaa??"
Just give me your TWIX and walk away. Just walk away.
I am with you - drop the guy and grab the candy!!
Twix makes everything better, mmmmm I need to go get one.
Twix isn't even that good in my opinion.
This commercial was funny nonetheless. But i would be stupid to leave with this guy...
Funny!
Twix saves the guy, but women are just believer bloggers.........
Just give me the Twix!
How did you find that?
♡ THat's funny!
Trish,
I saw it on latenight television about a week ago, then just searched you tube for "Twix Blogging Commercial". Gotta love that you tube!
Mmm, Twix! I haven't had one of those since the mini ones at Halloween time!

hillarious. I love it! :)
I wonder if that is this generation's equivalent to "come up and see my etchings?"
