Like a few other bloggers, I'm stealing this idea from Debbie. WHY?! Because I care about ya'al. I really do.... Also, I'm just plain morbidly curious about friends and strangers in general. Yeah. Never let me use the bathroom at your house 'cause I'm totally going to look in your medicine cabinet.
Moving on....
Tell me friends:
*texting or no texting?
*early bird or night owl?
*fast food or fancy restaurant?
*cats or dogs?
*Hawaii or Europe?
*is the glass half-full or half-empty?
*do you pre-wash or just throw it all in?
* favorite kind of chocolate?
*Nietzche or C.S. Lewis?
*can you tell me who the Secretary of the Interior of the United States is without Googling it or copying off your fellow commenters :)?
I promise you if you answer these, I'll leave your medicine cabinet alone :)......... THANKS FOR PLAYING!

texting---but only a little and only in the English language (no text ebonics!)
Night owl by my own choice, early bird by my kids choice. I'm not exactly a well-rested woman...
Fancy restaurant.
Cats or dogs that don't shed.
Europe. I'm all about gray and rainy.
It's half-empty. But I really ,REALLY want it to be half-full.
Pre-wash the clothes, but not the dishes.
Dark and imported.
C.S. Lewis--because, like I said, I really want that glass to be half-full!
It's Dirk Kempthorne. I have just about the whole presidential cabinet memorized. BUT DON'T COPY MY ANSWER ;).
texting - with correct full spelling and punctuation
early bird
fancy restaurant
dogs
europe
half-full
throw it all in

cs lewis of course
Hey! Thanks for your sweet comments on my blog too! I look at you as one of the "cool kids" in the blogosphere, and I'm just trying to join the clique! Anyway, here's my answers...
Texting...not so much
early bird
fancy restaurant at fast food prices
I like cats, but dogs - definitely
Hawaii - been to europe and would like to see something different
half-full glass most of the time
forget the pre-wash, dump it all in there but pre-wash the dishes
favorite chocolate? Any chocolate that is paired with peanut butter
C.S. Lewis - I've only read the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I really do aspire to be scholarly, just lack the motivation to read. Maybe that's why my blog is only on a high-school reading level! Talk about an insult!
Texting, texting and more texting!
Early bird!
Fancy for sure!
Dogs, no doubt!
Either...love a vacation!
Half FULL
Throw it ALL in
Milk Chocolate w/ caramel is nice
C.S. Lewis

* neither--I'm not a big fan of things that shed
* Hawaii
* depends on my mood, but I would like it to be half-full!
* pre-wash!
* mmmm, chocolate! As long as it isn't sissified (aka fruity) or nutty and isn't dark chocolate, I'm a happy chocoholic!
* C.S. Lewis all the way!
* no clue--I don't even recognize the name you wrote in your comment!
~ Sarah
How hard are you going to laugh when I tell you I don't have texting service? And I thought I invented the phrase "text ebonics!" So to answer your question, no texting.
Early bird usually. Although I have been blogging past midnight lately.
Umm...somewhere in between.

Hawaii
not only half full it is FULL.

Some texting
Both, depending on the time of year (I run on sun, so not so much sleep this time of year)
Both - depending on my mood - sometimes I'd rather stay home and cook!
Neither, but somehow I ended up with a dog!
Europe, though I have never been to Hawaii and would not turn it down.
Depends on what's in it! But really, mostly half full
Pre-wash laundry (I have messy kids) NEVER dishes
Dark, plain or with raspberries, mmmmm. . .
C.S. Lewis
I couldn't say, but I recognized the name as soon as I read it.
**Don't even have a data plan (my kids hate me)
**Night owl by choice, but same as you, early bird because of kids
**Fancy restaurant
**Had both, not a fan of the hair
**Hawaii, Europe seems too far to fly in the air (yeah, I'm a chicken)
**A little bith of both on the half-full and half-empty, but compared to my husband I'm an eternal optimist
**Throw it all in with clothes, with dishes I rinse before I put in the machine
**milk chocolate
**C.S. Lewis
**I knew it was Kempthorne, but only because I live in Idaho
no texting
night owl

Europe

Fun!
- No texting because my cell phone is too old!
- Definitely night owl but also early bird (not by choice) so I get little sleep
- Fancy restaurant for sure
- Dogs all the way!
- Hawaii or Europe, just depends where
- Glass is half-full but I'm aware of the empty portion too
- Just throw it all in! What's pre-washing?
- Currently it's Lindt milk chocolate with hazelnuts BUT I absolutely love chocolate and my "favorite" changes all the time. I also love Whole Foods' own organic chocolate
- C.S. Lewis
- I can't and I'll admit it!
Summer!!!!! SO glad to see you on blogger :)! Now I just need your blog address and I'll link you! (Summer has been my friend since we were 11. We even talked our parents into letting us live in an apartment together when we were 14. THAT was a crazy adventure :)!)
Trish,
Glad to see you speaking up again too :)! Missed you!
i'm also putting you on my blog list! Let me know if you mind :)
Mar and Carla,
Link away! Thanks for asking though :).
Although I am completly sure its too late to save me from you peeking in my medicine cabinet...I'll play along. ;)
Some texting, but only if you text me first.
Night Owl
Love 'em both, but fast food is cheaper so they get my business more often.
Both, any and all animals for me.
Hawaii, but Europe is fascinating too.
Hmmm....depends on my mood.
Pre wash dishes, didn't even realize I should pre wash my clothes.
Anything milk chocolate. (My most favorite is Belgium truffles we got in Amsterdam.)
C.S. Lewis, I don't even know who Nietzche is. Guess I'll go google that.
And no I couldn't have told you that without reading your answer. But as soon as I read it I thought to myself, "Duh, you knew that." Only cuz I'm a fellow Idahoan though.
*I rarely text...too much trouble.
*night owl.
*both?
*I would rather have dogs, but we have 2 cats right now.
*Europe
*half-full
*just throw it all in
* DARK chocolate
*C.S. Lewis
*ARE YOU CRAZY?
Money monger here doesn't have a cell...I don't even KNOW how to text. Is that possible in this age?
Night owl--hoot hoot
Uhh, torn. I don't want to eat heart attack food, but I do...and I don't want to pay for the fancy shmancy...but I sometimes dare.
cats
Hawaii
half full when I'm around people--only half empty when I'm by myself it seems....awwww sad :(
I'm a thrower! I use Spray n Wash...does that count?
nope, not a chocolote lover. You may gasp now, and hate me...
I couldn't even tell you who those authors are although I've heard of C.S. Lewis before...I think. HATE to read. You can tell by my grammatical uncorrectness!
The only name coming to mind is Conda Liza Rice. I'm going to look it up now and see how much I've embarrassed myself!
He He, Condoleezza Rice. Secretary of State...What the heck does she do? Uh, so confusing.
Okay, now you are going to find out that I am sooo not intelligent!
-Can barely use my cell phone to make phone calls! So, no on the texting...hubby is going to get me a blackberry when contract is up...says it will be easier! Whatever!
-I'm certainly not an early bird...but I'm usually so tired by the end of the day, I wouldn't qualify as a night owl either...I do get a lot more done at night though!
-Fancy restaurant...but I do like me some Taco Bell!
-LOVE animals...will only be able to have dogs because of hubby's terrible allergy to cats though :(
-Europe--we were married in Scotland--LOVE IT!
-Well, why is it that my life seems sooo perfect, yet sometimes I can only see the 1/2 empty in everything?? I'm really trying to see 1/2 full though :)
-I will pretreat certain stains if I know they are there. I rinse my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, I know...so silly!
-milk, I guess...I don't love dark chocolate...maybe it's just because I've never had the RIGHT one yet?!
-Okay, I am sooo not a reader...I have heard of C.S. Lewis but never of the other guy. Can you say loser!? (To be totally honest...I just asked my husband, "Is C.S. Lewis the guy that wrote Charlotte's Web?" In my defense...I did figure it out before he said anything...that was E.B. White I think?? But still, does THAT tell you anything about me?
-Nope, I can't even render a guess! If she or he hasn't been on Noggin or Disney, than there's a better than average chance I don't know them :)
Do I still get to visit your blog??!! You can look in my medicine cabinets any time friend!
Hey, thanks for visiting my blog and posting again. I must say I have been having the same thoughts about you since I started reading your blog! I grew up in Idaho and I keep thinking "Is there a reason she seems so familiar, or do we just have a lot in common?"
Staci--
Nietzche is a philosopher--German in origin--probably most famous for his quote "Gott ist tot" (God is dead). If you're a deep thinkin', I'm-gonna-rely-on-my-own- brai- to-get-me-through-this-life kind of person, you'd be a Nietzche lover. Lewis, on the other hand, is eternally optimistic about the human spirit and its divine origins, so though not a philosopher--I thought he'd be a good contrasting kind of opinion to put up there.
NO texting - hate it
Night owl
Home cooked meal anytime
Cats and dogs, 3 of each
Europe
Half-full kind of girl
My daughters do the washing!
Any kind of chocolate
Probably C.S. Lewis
Secretary of What?
Lisa Q.
ooo...fun! I have been working all week on adding to my "either or" lists. And most of these are ones I hadn't thought of.
No texting. Because I have no idea as to how to do it. How *old* am I?!
Night owl.
How do you define fancy? I have a weakness for Sonic...otherwise, I think fancy.
cats
I have been to neither...and want to go to both. If I HAVE to choose...Hawaii...because I love to snorkel.
Oh, this is my FAVORITE Far Side Cartoon. It's four sections on the square. First one has a guy looking at a glass and declares it half-full. Next panel, different person; declares it half-empty. Third panel, new person...can't decide if the glass is half-full or half-empty. Last panel - guy says "Hey...I ordered a cheeseburger!" Was that an answer?!
I make my daughter pre-wash the dishes. To me the dishwasher is to sterilize, not wash. And I don't do laundry...so I have no idea what is done there. I am a princess.
Peanut m&ms
Nietzche
Nope...would have had to google it. Or copy. :-)
don't know how to text and would be too slow typing
Night owl all the way!
Fancy restaurant; my faves are tearooms or places where ladies lunch
Cats, but no pets until Emma is housebroken
Europe; I dream of England
Half-full
I'm doing well just to wash; no prewash here
Chocolate -- is there any kind I don't like?
C.S. Lewis
I vote, but that's about as politically active as I am. Sorry, no, I didn't know the answer.
Hope we can still be friends!
I do scrape my dishes, though, if that's what you mean, and I do use Shout by the gallon.
Grudgingly, I text!
Early bird by force.
Depends on if we have the kids with us or not...
Cats - but family is allergic, so dog.
Europe/
Half-full
Throw it all in, regardless of color or fabric, in cold...try to remember it's in there before 2 days pass and it's a damp, wrinkled mess.
Available chocolate. Kids are asleep chocolate. MY chocolate...all mine.
C.S. Lewis.
Norton? Isn't it a woman?
I enjoy your blog! Love hearing about life with boys! :)
Texting- I hate to say it, but i love it. Not as much as email but close.
NIGHT OWL!!!
SUSHI.
Dogs. Cats, well, let's just say I'm not a fan.
Hawaii.
It's totally full, and exactly the right amount.
Throw it all in
Chocolate covered pretzels or peanuts make my heart sing.
C.S. Lewis.
Hey!
I just found your comment on my blog about the choco-covered sunflower seeds! I can't comment on all your questions tonite, but I can say -HELLO! The colorful choco-covered sunflower seeds are TOO CUTE! ...plus they keep the baby quiet during church (4 weeks without the cry room - Hallelujah!) I passed them out to friends, strangers...One stranger told me while passing by again last week that she ordered some and LOVED them! Even better than ones she had in HI on her honeymoon (I think that must be high praise!)
Maybe you and Bootsie in another season, despite your differences? I'm routing for him now that I'm pretty certain he isn't a psycho door-to-door solicitor (*wink*)!
God Bless,
~Karin
New texter. Not utterly convinced yet.
Posting this at almost midnight. ;)
Hmmm, either in moderation, but I rather eat my mom's home cooking.
Reluctantly, cat.
Europe. Hands down.
If it's got coffee, it's just plain empty. ;)
Throw it all in?
The edible kind of chocolate.
C.S. Lewis. I've got 3 boys.
Come enter my contest! You would look stunning in some BLING.

I am a texter, it is the only response that I can get from my husband. If you want to learn how to use it just soend time with a teenager - they will give you all the inside tricks.
Definately an Night Owl - I hate mornings!!!
Fancy Resturant - I love someone that clears the table and makes the mess all go away.
Dogs - cats are so unpredicatable
Europe - I have been to Hawaii and would love to go again but I really fell in love with Germany and England and want to see more.
Half-full, I want to be positive about life.
Throw it all in - we have a great dishwasher with a built in disposer so no worries there.
Pure milk chocolate preferrably encased acound a strawberry.
CS Lweis - he is inspiring, Nietzche is quite scary!!!
No idea on the last one - I am not a political follower, I cannot even tell you the name of our mayor. Probably a bad thing on my part.
This was fun:>
Texting

This is fun. I've been thinking of doing the same, to get to know people.
This night-owl, restaurant diner, future Europe vacationer, DeBrand chocolate eater (debrand.com), cat owner is too busy throwing in laundry to read Nietze or CS Lewis or to text anyone. I do see the glass as half full, though and I'm not too busy to google a picture of Dirk Kempthorne!
No texting, people misunderstand my sarcasm in text messages
Early bird, Jack wakes up at the crack of Dawn
Fancy restaurant, it's fun to get dressed up and order things you rarely would.
Probably dogs, but small ones
Hawaii first, then Europe, but both really, I just like the ocean
The glass if at least 3/4 full
Thanks to the Bosch we just throw it all in
All kinds of chocolate are my favorite kind
C.S. Lewis
text-a-holic
So night owl it gets close to running into the early birds.
Either, as long as I can be with Mr. B and/or my girls.
Used to be dogs but switching to Cats... less maintainance
Hawaii - I want to see Pearl Harbor
Half-full unless it has Long Island Ice Tea in it and then it's empty.
Throw it all in. I am pretty nuerotic about sorting through.
Milk chocolate with Caramel in it.
Neither - I'll take Viorst
The spawn of the Secretary of the Interior of the United States' parents.
Ok, so this is the first time I've actually left a comment on your site, but I just HAD to answer this one!
