top 5 reasons you haven't heard from me in days....

random picture of our feet. It added color!

1. I'm the biggest idiot ever to think that I could handle an online technical communications class. Not only do I have to learn the technical communicating part, I have to learn to work all kinds of new Windows applications on my computer as well. Who knew it could do other things besides blog?! TOTAL TIME SPENT CRYING INTO MY KEYBOARD OVER MY TECHNICAL INABILITY THIS WEEK ALONE: 8 hours.

2. I thought I might have been granted super-strength after my bout with Rheumatic Fever back in March because I haven't been sick since. Nope. Now I'm sick.....and tired. Thanks public school germs!

3. That last post---just a tad draining emotionally. Needed to get my happy bucket filled up again with lots and lots of boy squad time. Just about there!

4. My little fling with Ben and Jerry= 3 extra days at the gym. Oh but it was worth it!

5. And the BIG one.............Season 4 of The Office on DVD. Oh yeah!

So, forgive me dear blogging friends. I have read your sweet comments again and again and soaked up all their encouragement and advice. I promise to come visit each and every one of you over the next few days. And we won't miss Friday Fotos this week either!

Thanks for hanging with me. Love to you all!

So glad you had some lovin' from the boys. You are definitely in my thoughts and prayers - only wish there was something tangible I could do - even though I've never met you! :)

Hi, Jennifer, I just wanted to drop by to let you know I'm still praying for you. And to remind you that we want you to feel comfortable sharing whatever is on your mind, without feeling like you have to put on a happy face. We're here for you!

It's good to hear from you. That last post was just hanging there waiting for good things to come. I am glad they are coming. Except the technical difficulty part;)

Isn't the Office just the best show ever? It can make even the worst day seem so much better!

Hang in there!

Yay for being up late WAY past my bed time to catch a "Jennifer new post!"....but beware, I tend to ramble and make absolutely no sense at this hour!

I'm happy to hear about your busy, busy beginning to your even more busy future career! Thank you for still taking us along with you through your incredible journey. You still need time to get your feet on the ground. You're still running in mid air!

Anyway, while you settle yourself (it could take a while with your technical computer class...I'm so worried about that one..I wouldn't make it) I will happily think happy thoughts right along with you.

Good luck with each moment of the day, as each moment will probably seem overwhealming! We'll be here checking up on you from time to time to make sure you're still breathing...through. your. plugged. nose.

Ahhh....just breath.....

There we go. That felt better.

....cough....sniff....

O...K...take a tissue dear. You're definitely going to need it.

All kidding aside, best wishes Jennifer, and thanks for the update.

The foot picture...ADORABLE!! I've been wanting to do that with my girls, but my toes are ugly. You have very nice toes. I'm rambling...

The Office starts back up soon and I am thrilled. In fact, T.V. is on the edge of getting good again. I'm sorry your sick, but Ben and Jerry make fabulous doctors.

Hey, everyone needs a little blog break from time to time. Love the feet picture!

John Krasinski is certainly one way to ease the pain, I think. I just posted that he woas one of my celebrity crushes.

Jen, I am so sorry about what life has brought you. You did not deserve this, but men just popping up and leaving has been a theme with some friends lately. It has happened to a couple college friends with no warning, and everyone is just as confused as you were. Hang in there, hon.

First of all, let me say, I haven't stopped by because your new post didn't show up on my bloglist, otherwise I would have commented before now. I read Saturday's post, and just wanted to hug you. I'm so sorry. I can't imagine how much your heart is aching.

On a lighter note, I'm glad that you are spending QT with the boysquad and that your toes are painted. When you look good, you feel good, as I always say. Thank God for Ben and Jerry, and thank God more for gyms. Hope you feel better and here's a hug (*hug*).

Hi Jennifer,

Glad to see another post from you. I was worried. Sounds strange since I don't *know* you but these lurker/lurkee relationships are rather odd, huh? hee hee

I just love that Dwight. I've always been a little weird...
I am fearful of what starting school next year is going to do to my blogging mojo.
Anyhow, it's good to hear from you again.

Ah ha! So I was right (and then wrong on IM), you were sick and sad. (And overwhelmed. Who wouldn't be learning to use a computer for more than blogging. I think ONLY 8 hours of crying is quite good actually.) So fun to see you back everyone misses Jennifer P. :)Take care and get better. And when/if you ever get this way, I'm taking you to Yellowstone!

I'd love to learn more about this class you are taking. Let's chat at co-op,k?

best of luck with your technical com class.

you poor thing! technical computer stuff??? ick! good luck, i'm not too sure that i would do any better than you (i think that they should havve a class for the over 30...the younger kids just somehow "know" how to do that stuff!)

Hey Jenn! Glad you are feeling better! It will come with time! and trust me! you will find the right Man for you and your children! stay strong, keep the faith! heavenly Father knows the desires of your heart! hope you have a great day!

Tiem with the kids being silly is just the thing to make one feel sane again.
I hate online classes for just that reason. My first one had several hours of tears too and when I called the punks at the help desk they talked to me like I was an idiot. More crying. But in the end I got it and aced the class. And so will you!!!!

Glad that you are back.

Keeping yourself so busy isn't the best way to keep from getting sick but at least you have Ben & Jerry there to help take care of you.

And I love that pic :)

I see that I am not the only one that didn't get the notification of that last post in reader. So strange.

And I love the feet picture. Would make a great Christmas card :-)

I have been stalking (just teasin) for months. I remember reading the post about your husband wanting a divorce and I thought what is this girl going to do and 4 kids to boot. But as I have continued to read along each week I think you will be just fine. You are a very strong willed woman and that will help you do what you need to do and get done what needs to get done. I also remember reading about your mother and that struck another heart string for me for I lost my mom almost 5 years ago to cancer. My twin and I took care of her those last 6 months. Very hard when your preparing someone to die. Hardest thing I ever went through. I believe we all have an inter strength that GOD gives us and it is there to help us when we need it. Girl you are tapping into yours now. Best of luck and may you find love a second time.

Of course you're busy. You're "at work" in The Office!

I can't imagine learning computer stuff online! I like to figure out stuff like that, but I take it that's not you.

Seriously though, I'm praying for you right now.

Rheumatic Fever? Yikes!! My mom had that when she was a child and was hospitalized for so long she was held back a grade!! I know we have come a long way medically speaking but, are you ok? Any problems with your heart. I hope things are better.

The Office is the greatest show ever!!! New episodes start Sept. 25. Mark your calendar.

And hang in there with your class. I totally know what you mean. You are trying to figure out the computer part of it and meanwhile you have a deadline to post something, but you can't get anything to work. panic panic panic. You'll get through it. I promise.
