Nothing too fancy happening around here being in the midst of finals and all, but there were a few things that caught my camera's attention and made me go HMMMMMM.....
Like, how does James eat his Lucky Charms like this?! He can drink all the milk and eat all the marshmallows, but leave behind all the tastes- like- cardboard- looks -like -cat food pieces. Hmmmm......
And how is that he can always be so stinking cute?! Hmmmmmm........
Why do I continue to leave my expensive sunglasses right where Mr. Touches Everything can get to them?! Just look at that hunger in his eyes! Hmmmmm...........

When I was packing to leave California, dimple-icious Mystery Man (MM) was helping me. Among his contributions: perfectly winding the cords to all my electronic doohickey's. Is it just sick and wrong that well-wrapped cords get my pulse racing a little bit faster? Hmmmmm......

I remember waiting in line for hot chocolate at Disneyland and being "bumped" by a stroller. It hurt... but not too bad. Still, that's the only thing I could think of that could have caused this lovely on my leg. Should a person REALLY leave the *happiest place on earth* bruised? Hmmmmm.......

(shield your eyes from the whiteness of my leg!!! I never get tan, but at least in the summer I put on self-tanning lotion and make an attempt to be kinda "golden". I give up by winter though. I am the color of paste. Ah well.)

Anytime! Thanks for inspiring me to be more creative with my posts :) I need to get a better camera so I can do some of these fun foto posts too... If it makes you feel better (about being pasty and bruising easily) I am 1/2 Mexican and MY LEGS STILL LOOK LIKE YOURS! :) I am also tagging you for a "7x7" blog post (write 7 things about yourself and tag 7 people to do the same) The rules are in a pic in my post!
Cute pics!
And hey, pale skin is lovely! I don't know why everyone thinks being really tanned or having darker skin is nicer....I wear 60 SPF sunscreen all year round, gotta keep the skin looking youthful for the future! Ha ha...
And ouch! Bruises can really hurt sometimes. Hope it goes away fast!
I, too, am a lovely shade of alabaster. And no. No, you should never leave the Magic Kingdom with a bruise. It goes against some sort of human decency law.
I love your "things that make you go Hmmm... Who is that by? I haven't heard that in so long!! :)
If it makes you feel better about your legs, I've never been able to tan either, and I think mine are actually whiter than yours!
Hey baby!
Okay, so I have the very same bruise, sadly not from Disneyland! More like, the dishwasher.
And my kiddos eat the cereal the very same way.
And what a great award and what it says with it. I love that. :)
And now I need to go back and catch up on your blog, cuz you went to Disneyland and I need to know more...
i've got to say that a well-organized and packed bag makes my pulse race just a little more....but that is just me. :)
i think that you might just have yourself a keeper in that MM....
Dang - that bruise looks painful... you sure it's not from MM?? HA HA!!!!
great pix. I love the randomness of them.
Why is it little ones LOVE sunglasses so much, but never want to wear them??? Just pull, tug, lose or break them!?
I use the self tanner in the winter to keep my"glow". It helps me get through the gloomy-ness of winter. Plus my hubby is darker than I am naturally and I don't want to look casper-ish. lol
Aw! Look at him and his little Paul Frank attire. Too cute!!!! Don't worry about the whiteness. My husband just called me pale not too long ago.... or maybe he said pasty. Ouch!
Kate and James are twins in every way. That's the same way she eats lucky charms. And you should see the bruise on my arm from Carter pinching me. It was just a fun little pinch (in church no less) but those little fingers must have grabbed right onto a vein cause my arm looks awful. And I love this song. :)
Yikes! That bruise...from a stroller non the less!? Another YIKES, how cute is your James! I'm sure that talent of eating Lucky Charms like that will come in handy some day :) Ohhh, I do love a man that can bundle a cord up all nice and cozy :) I'll be back Monday for sure!!! Can't wait to see! Have a great weekend my friend! (If you were me, I would be thinking this WHOLE weekend, "LAST weekend at this time...I was at DisneyLand...or last weekend, at this time, smiling at MM...not me, smiling at MM, YOU of course! Okay, does ANY of that make sense?? I was just meaning that I always reflect for like a month when I just had a great time!)
I think tightly coiled wires can make any woman's heart go a pitter patter...lol! Newness is so much fun.
Cute James oh yes!
Lots 'o nice pictures...love it. Sorry about your bruisey-ness. I bruise soooo easily it's crazy.
I'm also loving your nicely wrapped cords, it's neat and tidy. I like men that care enough to do those simple things.
I'm commenting small...It's Miki comment overload since my neck is so much better!
I'm pretty sure it's against the law to leave Disneyland with a bruise. You'd better do a do over. :)
Pale is totally in...
Definitely hmmmmmmm moments:-)
what's that saying?..."a bruise from Disneyland is better than no bruise from anywhere else..."? isn't that right? ;)
Ouch, your bruise looks painful.
Those neatly wrapped cords are pretty amazing.
Your boys are pretty cute, too. :)
Oh, James has some serious sunglass hunger in his little eyes. Love all the monkey jammas.
Oh, and congrats on the great award! Love that it means something...
Your little dude is waaaaaaaay cute. Are he and the redhead close to the same age? They would be trouble with a capital T fo shizzle.
And the cords. Oh my. How did you keep your hands to yourself on the plane or in the car?
At least us guys now know how to win over a woman's heart... just wind up some cords ;)
Love the pics. The boys look adorable in their Paul Frank PJ's and the Jacket too... very stylish.
You sure you didn't get the bruise from doing a little WWF with your boys... or better yet, MM? That would make for a good blog post ;)
I hold my sunglasses to be SACRED... too bad the chitlins don't always have the same opinion of my things. That's when I'm grateful my friend works at Oakley and can get me a stinkin good deal...
As for the white legs, such is the price we pay when living in the “cold country” – My sister is white as can be and one niece once commented that her skin color was clear – kids say the darndest things.
Have a great weekend. Looking forward to the Monday Prize.
Fun pics. Love that your cords wound up so neatly makes your heart pitter patter. It's the little things. :-)
And sister....your white legs got nothin' on mine. And I'm supposed to be on a beach in Hawaii in a few weeks......and I'm allergic to every self tanner on the market. Ugh. Hot, stinky, tanning beds here I come.
I'm having a GIVEAWAY too. Come on over and win a beautiful frame!! Odetocreativity.blogspot.com!! Spread the word!
Can't believe you synced up the music with the post...It just started all of a sudden and scared the bejeezus out of me!!!
Great post -- as always!
Love the Lucky Charms...that is a true talent! I used to have a dog that could eat dog food in 2.5 seconds and leave 5 peas (placed in there to check her talents in pea avoidance. She never missed).
Nothing wrong in being turned on by a man who winds your cords nicely!
That is very exciting about your California trip! I hope to hear how it went soon!! I also love seeing your Christmas tree... I have loved seeing it for the past 9 years or so!! You are amazing!!
MM gets huge brownie points for being a winder. I love it. My husband, too, is a winder. I appreciate that!
"Is it just sick and wrong that well-wrapped cords get my pulse racing a little bit faster?"
Lol. Welcome to the club! I LOVE well-wrapped cords as well!!! I thought I was the ONLY obsessed one... Lol.
Wow, you remind me of child husband, he's got alot of cords also!! lol
My husband came back from a week in Disneyland with a nice tan. Me--chapped lips. Still pastey white. No bruises though, unless you count the dent in my wallet, but I let Rob worry about those things!
