Dots or Trees?

This is the wall near my entry, opposite my living room. The vinyl dots are from blik, and they cost me a fortune (this was before wallies were readily available). Brad built me the cute frame around them, and I like them--except for the bottom row of pink, yellow, and purple.I don't care much for pink, yellow, or purple. They came in a random pack of 16 colors, so I didn't choose those particular colors. There is nothing in my house pink or yellow, and only flowers that are purple. Anyway, I got a screaming deal on the tree picture and wondered if I might like it up here more? If I don't put it here-- I'll put it in my room. But I'm stuck and I'm often time my own worst enemy in making decisions. I'll make up my mind soon enough, but then I'll forever second guess myself. SO, does anyone have any thoughts: dots or trees? THANKS!
*I forgot to tell what I was thankful for today, so I have to add it in. We finally have a Bajio Grill here, just down the road from my house to boot. It is that perfect salty, spicy, sweet combination that I love and waaaaay better than Baja Fresh. So, although it's another perfectly frivolous thing to be thankful for, I say mmmmmm.....Bajio!

I loved the dots the first time I came over and saw them. They are striking and I don't think the bottom row clashes at all since it's kind of a modern artish look...but whatever you decide will look awesome. Can you re-use the dots? Maybe you could put them somewhere else? If not, then I'd say keep them there to get your money's worth at least for a while longer. You can always hang the tree picture there later.

No--they're not re-positionable. Darn! If you look at the Blik website (whatisblik.com), they have a whole wall done with the little dots and I LOVED it--but I knew they would forever be being picked at by my and other's children. Sigh.

I'm only getting anxious to do something now because I have 35 women coming for an ornament exchange party in December. Nothing like a party to get me moving on projects!

I'm sorry I'm no help at all. Remember I'm very decorating challenged. I love them both. My only thought is the dots are very unique. I love unique.

I think you should keep the dots. Only your house could pull something off so cool! (Of course I am a traditionalist and LOVE the tree, but still my vote for you house is the dots.)

p.s. I am sad I don't live close enough to get invited to the ornament exchange. Sounds like lots of fun!

p.s. thanks for all the painting tips!

The bajio quesadilla is my favorite. Brad is partial to the chimi or the shrimp tacos. And the sweet rice is so yummy.
