Yesterday morning I was in the middle of trying to reach the bottom of my never ending pile of laundry in time for today's vacation when......lucky me!........my washing machine broke. The agitator wouldn't spin at all. I actually sat there for about 5 minutes turning it by hand so the clothes would get a little bit clean. Brad, who can fix anything, came home, examined the machine, and declared he had no idea what to do--except to pack us all in the van and go to RC Willey. Hooray for Brad! We ended up buying a washer and a dryer as well ( since I can wash three loads of laundry in the time it takes for our dryer (on high!) to dry one). SO although I will not be getting the beautiful $4000 red set, I am getting a very functional,much less expensive white one--and just in time too-- I don't think it would be very fun to pack a suitcase full of dirty clothes.
Today, then, I am thankful for my dear husband. He is a laid-back man of few words who can still make me laugh every day, is aware of all my weaknesses and loves me anyway, and who always knows when I need a little rescuing.

I love it! That is exactly what my husband would have done. And yes, the red ones are beautiful, but that shade of red will some day be out of style. With white appliances you can always paint the laundry room any color you want! Mine is pumkin orange and I love it!
Oh I am jealous!! I've been wanting a new wahser and dryer for a little while now. I wish mine would die. :) (Not really, cause I don't think now is the time to buy a new one. Got to get the basement done first.) Congrats on the new additions.
