the boy squad
welcome to our blog!
A life in transition, happy to be lived in a transparent way because it's too beautiful and funny and tragic and filled with little miracles to be kept to myself. I love the comments. I love the sincere, kind followers. But if it was just me and the chirping crickets of cyberspace, I'd be here, doing this, regardless.
I am happiest when I can make someone laugh or cry...or laugh till they cry.
I am mother to my amazing blended family of six, recently transplanted to a California surfer city.
I am a fashionista.
I am an interior designer.
A poet. A pirate. A homeschooler. A writer.
I'm a lover, not a fighter (though don't pick a fight with me because I'll kick your trash.)
I live in a crazy house with my Emmy-nominated husband, a ukulele, and a seven foot tall bigfoot.
I never go a day without acknowledging God.
And I make the best chocolate frosting in the world.
Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day.
"If you would not be forgotten as you are dead and rotten, Either write things worth reading, or do things worth the writing" -Benjamin Franklin
"That which we persist in doing becomes easier for us to do; not that the nature of the thing itself is changed, but that our ability to do it has increased" -Heber J. Grant
I would rather attempt something great and fail, than to do nothing and succeed.
these are the people i'll remember when i'm famous:
I'll have to sit and do that in a little bit. I like those kinds of things.
Thanks for asking about the link, but link away girlfriend! Every day I mean to put your name on my list (oops! May I?) But I just don't get around to it.
You seriously inspire me and I've never met you. Sometimes during the day when I hear "I'm boring!" (she doesn't understand the concept of bored), I think to myself "what would Jennifer do?" That girl would burry some kit kats in the back yard. While I haven't done that yet I am trying to be a bit more creative in my day. Thanks for blogging Jennifer!

Awesome!
Weird, it was kind of true about me.

That was interesting. Not right on for me, but fun. Some of the choices were very hard for me to make. That could have been why it wasn't right on.
