It seems crazy since it was a gorgeous 61 degrees on Sunday, but we woke up to the first snow this morning. I thought we might actually make it snow-free until Thanksgiving this year!
As you can see it was barely enough to cover the grass, but Liam especially was SO excited. He's the little red lump you see in the front window. He wanted me to hold him, wrapped in a blanket, for nearly 1/2 an hour while he told me everything he remembered about last year's snow. What a sweetie!
So, snow on the pumpkins and what remains of the flowers, and snow to cover up the leaves I hadn't yet raked. I guess today I can be thankful for snow and dear children who appreciate it as only children can!

I would take snow over rain ANY day! Thankfully the rain has stopped here and we're supposed to have sunshine which makes my heart so happy!
Wow, I think you got more than we did. It snowed a little bit this afternoon. Finally it's starting to feel like Thanksgiving/Christmas. Although this is my perfect kind of winter. Warm until Thanksgiving, snow until Christmas, maybe even January, then spring!!
