Zane and Ethan have piano lessons every Wednesday, and if they play all their songs well we go and get a blizzard from the Dairy Queen. Liam will usually have a small dish of ice cream and ,until the past few weeks, James was always happy with a glass of water. Now he seems to know he is missing out on something. So I thought a cherry slushy would be easy for him to drink through a straw. Our house is only about two minutes from the Dairy Queen, but somehow--ever so silently--James managed to dump the WHOLE thing on himself.
Directly to the bathtub he went. He looks so very pathetic because I took his clothes off. He had been happily nibbling pieces of cherry ice off himself and didn't want it taken away. You can see that the red syrup even stained his skin in the various textures of his clothes. I couldn't scrub the stuff off!
Did that nasty, skin-staining syrup come out of his clothes? Yesiree! Hooray for the new washer!

Oh my goodness! And I'm the lucky mom cleaning vomit out of the car seat today. Oh happy day! If only I could get it all apart I'd be doing good. For some reason I can't get all the cushions off. But, I think I'd rather clean up cherry slushy than vomit. Thanks for the cute pics....and yaaaahhhh for the new washer!
He looks so sad! And, that is so funny that it came off his clothes, but not his skin! He'll be pink for a while. Also, the play room below was awesome! You are so talented! Love the work you do.
Maybe you should stick him in the washer on the gentle cycle? Just kidding! That is funny! (Not the cleaning up part though.)
