What a happy day for our whole family, and Ethan especially. We are so thrilled that he made the decision to be baptized! He was full of smiles and so kind all day--which he usually is any way, but everything about him seemed "glowy". It was a neat day all around, and we are so thankful to all our family and friends who came and who sent well wishes. THANK YOU!

Well the baptism was wonderful, but we had quite an adventure before hand. Mom and Dad Peterson and Aunt Eileen came down to have a late lunch with us. Ethan got to pick where we would go, and he chose the Cheesecake Factory. It's usually a little hard to get in there, but I was told by a ward member who works there that it would be easy to get us all in at the 2:00 time we were planning. Nope--45 minute wait. So, we went down the road to the Macaroni Grill. Lots of open tables, but they told us it would still be 20 minutes before they could get us in. (Why the restaraunts around here won't take weekend reservations is beyond me!). What delightful restaraunt did we finally end up dining at? Ah yes, the Arby's! We were simply out of time but all starving. Ethan is a resiliant little guy and didn't mind, but you can tell by the look on Brad's face how thrilled he was! And poor little Liam has his trademark pout on in the picture because I've just told him that Arby's doesn't have macaroni and cheese.

We finally make it to the church on time, and Liam and James are down for the count. They are still such good nappers but had to settle for the 17 minutes they got in the car!
And what more could I be thankful for this day than this amazing Church that we are so blessed to be a part of.

Holy Bananas! I didn't even realize you had a baptism to do!!!! I always get Ethan's and Zane's birthdays wrong and mixed up. Congrats to Ethan, what a great big kid! (Sorry you had to settle for Arby's. Maybe you can take a raincheck on the Cheesecake Factory.)
Ethan turned eight the first part of October, but there were no stake baptisms because of General Conference so we had to wait until this month. Zane's b.day is coming up on the 12th of this month! (Isn't Halle's around then too?)
Congratulations Ethan! He looks darling as usual and Brad is beaming in the baptism picture. So glad he chose to get baptized. We are proud of you! Have fun in McCall!
Yes, Halle's is the 15th and Kate's is the 18th. Crazy time of year for us.
