i {heart} saturday!

What a nice Saturday it's been--the kind where you're really busy, but it still feels like you're having fun.

I went to my 90 minute step and weights class and will most surely be feeling it in my abs tomorrow. Then I came home and watched all my 'boys' play a game of baseball on the wii (the only gaming system I would ever recommend to anyone!). Brad and I went to lunch downtown at the Old Spaghetti Factory. It was gorgeous inside--big venetian glass chandeliers, oversize artwork and accessories (I LOVE oversize!), and a trolley car with booths inside it right in the middle of the dining room floor. I was really looking forward to a great meal, but it turned out to be very average tasting spaghetti that was way too heavy on the oregano. The minestrone was tasty though, and the spumoni was good too. And of course I had the best company! Downtown is decorated so beautifully, and we enjoyed a quick walk around the block--might have gone further but it was super cold! (Elena--I may need another lesson in how to put web images up here. Tried to put a photo of the spaghetti factory up, but it wouldn't work. So no pictures this time!) Finally,we put up half our outside Christmas lights (in the dark!). I'm waiting to take the photo for when (and if?!) we get the rest up.

One more announcement: Last year I got Brad what I thought was the "perfect" gift--something he absolutely wanted, but never saw coming. It was a gift certificate to go skydiving. He LOVED it! Well, this year he has totally returned the favor. No, I'm not going to jump out of a plane, but he did manage to find what I think is the perfect gift for me. He had to tell me though, because it's kind of a personal thing and he needed my help to plan it. Curious? You'll have to wait and see :)! It just may be here before Christmas.....

oooooh! What is it? I can't stand the suspense! Personal? What could it be?

I'm with you on the spaghetti factory...so/so. They do have gluten free pasta though :-)

Glad you had a nice day with your hubby.

OOOOHHH! I can't wait to find out either. Poor Jarom ordered me something online and the the Fed-Ex man delivered it yesterday. I promised I wouldn't peek, but the box had a big picture of what is was inside. Jarom was bummed, but I thought it was hilarious. (It's a coat rack for my foyer and I couldn't be more excited!)

And as for posting pictures, you just have to find the image you want, right click on it, "save picture as" (save it on you computer where you want it), then upload it the same way you do all your pictures.

p.s. Your new background color makes me want to go eat Andes Mints or something. Yummy.....

Cute new colors! Your gift sounds exciting-- !! I don't know if Jeff even knows what I am getting yet this year, he's always out with the Christmas Eve-ers in the overpicked stores. ♥
