I am very excited
and so is my refrigerator
It's always nice to be STUFFED!
Hot Winter Punch
1 12 oz. can each of frozen lemonade and frozen orange juice
5 quarts (20 cups) of water
3 cups of sugar (you can go up to 4 if you're really into sugar!)
2 cinammon sticks
1 t. whole cloves
a pinch of ginger
Combine together in a big pot over med. heat until just warm enough to drink. This makes 20 servings, so better invite some friends!

Oh I am SO jealous! I have been the same, only shopping for a meal or two at a time, and I've been doing that for over a month. My cupboards and fridge are so bare. I get SUCH a sense of satisfaction out of a full pantry. (But who has time to shop like that anymore?) And your drink sounds divine, thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see pictures of the party. Sounds like so much fun!
So funny, I just went and copied and pasted this recipe ibto my files, but when I pasted it only the "Hot winter punch" appeared. I couldn't figure out why the rest didn't come through, until I realized it was white font. It was there, just invisible. HA! I am such a nerd.
Jennifer, I think I got my background paper from Two peas in a bucket from their free digital scrapbooking kits. I stored it at photobucket.com. Photo bucket has something to help you with blogger but I actually copied and pasted the basic code I needed from a friends blog. If you want more help, just let me know. I'll email you what to copy and paste.
We're having a good December. Hope you guys you are too.
Love,
Sarah
Yeah Elena, I haven't quite figured out how to put my type back to white after I change colors--if I click on black, it publishes in black, so I have to go back through and edit it in white, then highlight it to be able to see it. It's amazing how I even function in the 21st century!
Have so much fun with your party-- wish I could come the menu sounds divine. We are decorating this week-- things have been too stressful to get it done sooner (my husband is on his way to switching jobs, car trouble, my party, my calling, sicknesses, etc etc...) I love looking at your photos for inspiration.
Who doesn't love a full fridge! Wish mine looked like yours.
I got my trees at Costco a couple years ago. No "feathers" though. They're just glitter.
Can't wait to try your punch. Thanks for sharing your recipe! Sounds yummy.
so glad to have wandered your way...many familiar images.
enjoy this time!
