I love planning it.
I even love the craziness that goes on getting everything ready right before it.
I think this one was a success.
I love that I was able, with a little creative re-arranging, to get everyone in. It was so much fun to see friends from our old neighborhood, and friends I've made since our move. And a neat way to make some new friends too. Everybody had a great time. Wish I would have taken some pictures during the actual ornament exchanging part--it got very competitive, in a fun way of course. I ended up with a Curious George ornament, which Liam immediatley claimed as his own and has carried everywhere with him since.
And there were even a few leftovers for my children to scavenge.

Looks like a success! Glad that there was table scraps for the little ones to munch on... my boys love a good party leftover!
The food all looks delish! An I loved seeing your big ol' vase filled with th familiar Christmas red carnations. I love how you always have fresh flowers on your table. Wish I dared do that. I am afraid Kate would spill the water and pull the petals off in about 30 seconds. Looks like you had a really nice time. Wish I had a bunch of friends here to have a big party like that.
Don't you have like a bajillion family members there? You always give the BEST parties anyhow--for all kinds of fun reasons. Really wish you had been here. We miss you guys!
