have i mentioned i don't like January?

As I was out today shoveling the snow off my sidewalk for about the bajillionth time since November -- feeling the cold settle into every one of my muscles, freeze all the feeling out of my hands and legs and face, and knowing that there is more snow on the way tomorrow--my mind settled on a happy little thought to get me through.........Spring! Hoo hoo! Green grass, warm afternoons, refreshing little rain showers. Yes, I know it also means ants, weeds, and wind--but at least, for now, I think all the good stuff outweighs the bad stuff.

So I am going to close the blinds on the arctic tundra that is my front yard, and just stare at these photos of blue skies and blooming flowers of Springs past--and see if I can't warm up!

THINK SPRING!!!

Steve and I were just talking about spring today. Pruning, new bark, playing OUTSIDE! And today we're supposed to get a big ice storm. Aaaahhh. This too shall pass.

Great pictures. I love the one of you spinning around. It looks like it's from a movie or something. :) And the baby duck is a perfect spring thought.

Those ducks are darling. We use to have ducks and chickens in our backyard. It was nice having fresh eggs every morning, but watch out for the red one... she would peck your ankles!

I can't find your email address.......but I wanted to make sure you knew that I NEVER expect the featured bloggers to send me anything. I don't do it for gifts. I hesitated mentioning it, I would never want anyone to feel bad.

I love the header picture too- breathtaking! I loved this post as well. I feel the same- once Christmas is over I want it to immediately snap to spring and stay there until fall! ;) You are so fun to follow. Thanks again for all the love and encouragement you give me. I think this week is launch week for my little biz...keep your fingers crossed! ;)

I am also finding myself thinking about Spring a LOT! Just the idea of green things growing, sunshine, NOT being so freezing that your hands hurt, etc.! I love these pictures!
