- I am happiest when I can make someone laugh or cry...or laugh till they cry. I am mother to my amazing blended family of six, recently transplanted to a California surfer city. I am a fashionista. I am an interior designer. A poet. A pirate. A homeschooler. A writer. I'm a lover, not a fighter (though don't pick a fight with me because I'll kick your trash.) I live in a crazy house with my Emmy-nominated husband, a ukulele, and a seven foot tall bigfoot. I never go a day without acknowledging God. And I make the best chocolate frosting in the world.

Your smilebox got me all weepy too. Your pictures are lovely and the sentiment behind them even more so. I too get sad at the thought of my son growing. In fact sometimes I jokingly tell him I am going to give him a shot so he stops growing and stays the same size forever. Having children is such a gift...Thanks for sharing your family through pictures. So sorry about the hangers.
